Online one-to-one consultations with me offer an alternative or complimentary way of dog training.

These are no substitute for an in-person training session, but can work well for you if:
- You would like some follow-up to on-going or previous training, where discussion is preferred or more appropriate to physical back-up, or
- You would like to learn more about certain aspects of training that do not require me to work with your dog directly, or
- You are interested in dog nutrition and your dog’s diet, or
- You are outside my catchment area and any of the above still applies
Online consultations can be booked on an ad hoc basis as single, stand-alone sessions or continued on a package basis, and are great way to learn from the comfort of your sofa, at a time convenient to you, including evenings or weekends.

These sessions are never a set structure, but are instead guided by me around the specific needs and priorities that you would like to address.
Examples of online consultations include, but are not limited to:
dog nutrition *NEW*
We can look at a gentle introduction to this field, or specifically how this might relate to your dog’s health, behaviour and training. We can examine your dog’s likely nutritional needs and your expectations or concerns, whatever your budget. You can rest assured my guidance is not judgemental and is independent of any dogma or brand! Please do note though, I am not a Nutritionist or a Vet, and those qualified persons should always be consulted for medical advice. But I am qualified and experienced in this field to be able to give you some guidance and support.
so you want a dog
This can cover anything from help choosing a breed for a good fit, how to prepare your house and lifestyle for the dramatic change, equipment, to general advice on daily routines and welfare.
so you want another dog
I am often called in to help people who have taken on another dog in addition to the resident dog. It is never a predictable situation, but I can help with your thought process before you take the plunge, or coping strategies and problem prevention if you already have.
new puppy training
Covering the most important basic tools you will need for training your new arrival, from selecting equipment, advice on the rhythm of routines and getting you started on the key training techniques. Let’s get everyone off to the best possible start!
how to train your dog
This provides you with a foundation, a mindset, that you can take forward with your own training. It introduces principles of force-free training, and how to understand motivations for dog behaviour. Once we question why our dog is doing or not doing something, we can think through what it is we need to do to help them. It’s the key to a harmonious life with your dog, and underpins all my training.

So how does it work?
Get in touch with me to discuss your needs – anything from the above or anything not included there, and if it would work, I can book in an hour’s online consultation with you, at a day and time convenient for you. We can do this on WhatsApp, Teams or Zoom. I look forward to hearing from you!
